Essential oils are good for your body and your mind!

Dr. Ann Blake Tracy has long taught that essential oils from Young Living are useful for bipolar people (including children) and others affected by mood disorders. She highly recommends coming down off all antidepressants that cause an increase in seratonin. The key is to come down s l o w l y, very, very, very slowly…like 6 months to 1 year, or even more slowly. The technique she teaches is to use your fingernail file to shave off the pill a little each day….and go s l o w l y. At the same time, replace your anti-depressant regimen with things like Young Living essential oils, our antioxidant drinks, going to bed early to re-train your sleeping habits and mood swings, avoid all stimulants (sugar, Nutrasweet, refined carbs, milk proteins, caffeine). There are many more ways to control mood swings and sleeping patterns too. Refer to 7 Ways to Manage Bipolar Without Drugs. You can be sure that these strategies work for people of all ages, even bipolar children.

Dr. Tracy says: For information on safe withdrawal please refer people to my recording “Help! I Can’t Get Off My Antidepressants!” For two decades my patients have been taught what will safely work in anti-depressant withdrawal. PLEASE encourage them to NOT switch from one antidepressant to another thinking the withdrawal will be any easier! When the FDA warned that any abrupt change in dose of an antidepressant, whether going up or down, can produce suicide, hostility or psychosis, they meant it. Going down on one antidepressant and up on another is doing that twice and can produce serious reactions. We have enough bipolar patients on the planet without anti-depressant withdrawal increasing the numbers any more than it already has (4000% in ten years)!!
