You take special care of your body all year round because if your body is giving you too much trouble, how can you have a happy life? Ideally, you want to be unaware of your body. It should be so well balanced and pleased with living, that it doesn’t send you any wake-up calls. Right?
Well, there are ways for you to balance your body and emotions. The biggest factor for bipolar people is what you eat and drink because that’s what your body is made of (and your emotions are not removable from your body)! You literally construct a new body every 3 years. Nobody else is in charge of your construction–you are.
Even though some of us have greater challenges in the realm of bipolar health than others, I’m encouraging you to keep track of what you eat and how you pleasure yourself with holiday foods and drinks. All your food choices make a difference. Read what Sarah has to say about her bipolar experiences and her food choices (that she has proven to be an excellent mood stabilizing diet).
