Bottled Water Doesn’t Help Bipolar Mental Health

Many people believe they’re making the best choice when they drink bottled water over tap water. Bipolar disorder or manic depression may be more dependent upon what we put into our bodies than we ever thought. From a child in the womb, born with bipolar distress to the adult with bipolar onset due to extreme lifestyle stress, your drinking water may affect your mental health and balance more than you ever suspected.

It’s a given that tap water is generally better for you than bottled water. City water supplies are zealously regulated but bottled water suppliers are surprisingly free to pawn off on the trusting public any source of water. Bottled water companies are relatively unregulated. In the eighties, I was walking in a San Jose suburb and came across the famous Alhambra Springs. I was totally shocked to see that the location marker pointed under the city sidewalk! Alhambra bottled water, in my mind, had a clean crisp taste just like their advertisements claimed and still claim. But the source is under a city sidewalk in an area noted for industrial pollution. Questionable.

Reverse osmosis is a water purifying technique employed by some bottling companies and that water is acidic (pH5.0). People don’t realize that RO water is detrimental to bipolar health/mental health,  but a ph value of 5.0 is very acidic causing your own body’s ph value to decline each time you drink it. Disease and mental imbalance thrives under acidic conditions. All bipolar people are highly acidic. All people who are generally depressed are acidic. All people who have trouble with negative attitudes are proven to be acidic.
