Bipolar Acidity and Friendships

A FRIEND is someone to laugh yourself silly with…
A FriendOver acidity evidently acts as a depressant to your nervous system. “When acids accumulate in tissues throughout the body, they can directly affect the mental energy underlying our ability to create and maintain a positive outlook as much as our sex and stress hormones can affect mood.” (taken from The Chemistry of Success by Susan Lark)

pH is terribly important to all bipolar people. High alkalizers compose the top 4% of the world’s population as our top achievers! People who are highly acidic, on the other hand, are in danger of doing physical harm to themselves.

The effect of pH on mental health is demonstrated by William H. Philpott, MD, who spent many years researching the links between food allergies, over acidity, and mood. He is an environmental psychologist.  It’s true that overly acidic individuals tend to lack the energy for intense social relationships and may be contrarily withdrawn and introverted.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could manage your pH acidity, turn your body slowly alkaline, and find your typical mood swings lessening? What if?

Mood swings, according to Dr. Philpott, are not always emotional in origin, but rather due to chemical imbalance. We’ve heard that before, haven’t we… He prescribed a combination of enzyme therapy and alkalizing agents for his patients and observed that their mental problems went away. For 25 years he treated patients in this manner.

He described the case of a man who had suffered from autism as a child and schizophrenia in his teens. He found that this young man was severely over-acidic. By restoring the young man to alkalinity through a variety of therapies, “Dr. Philpott was able to get someone who had been fully dependent on his parents’ care to drive a car and attend a university, where he studied art. The young man was eventually able to move out of his parents’ house, live independently, and sell his artwork.” (The Chemistry of Success by Susan Lark)

Your pH balance matters! Your acid/alkaline balance affects your moods and your relationships in a very foundational way. Nobody wants to be depressed in their nervous system – in their brain.
