Bipolar Children on Antidepressants…how we can help.

Posted by User ImageDianne Hansen | October 14, 2008 .

For a long time, antidepressants for bipolar people, even bipolar children, have been accepted as necessary. But Dr. Ann Blake Tracy teaches just the opposite. It’s a known fact that seratonin levels are raised by antidepressants and it’s very, very dangerous to do so. A person can die overnight from seratonin poisoning due to accumulation from seratonin-raising antidepressant drugs.

LinkedIn Question Asks About Bipolar in the Workplace

Posted by User ImageDianne Hansen | October 5, 2008 .

I have the same “disorder” and I feel and suffer from the mistrust, the lack of knowledge and the stigma, disdain, etc., that I am met with when (i.e.) applying for a job. I have chosen to be open about my disease (at my workplace, with family and friends) and I have the viewpoint that I don’t really wanna work ANYWHERE that doesn’t have the flexibility and tolerance to (want to) understand what this really is.
